1:00-2:00 Welcome everyone, we're here today with entrepreneur and investor Jennifer Lum.
2:00-5:45 Tyler: What would you be doing if you weren't doing startups?
5:45-9:15 Thank you to MailChimp for supporting the show. Everyone thank @MailChimp!
9:15-10:00 Jennifer Lum is with us today, welcome to the program!
10:00-11:15 Tell us about selling your company to Apple. How did that go down?
11:15-14:15 What was your time at Apple like?
14:15-16:00 What's unique about mobile advertising vs. web advertising?
16:00-18:45 What's an example of where location and timing would matter?
18:45-20:15 Do local businesses know how to advertise and use this technology? How do you get them there?
20:15-22:45 Will more dollars ever be spent on mobile vs. the web?
22:45-26:30 Thank you to Trada for sponsoring the program! Everyone thank @Trada!
26:30-28:30 Jason tells the story of when he met Steve Jobs.
28:30-29:30 So tell me about Adelphic--why is it different?
29:30-31:00 What's the distinction when you say "at scale"?
31:00-33:30 Is there a privacy concern? How do you protect consumer privacy?
33:30-36:00 Do you think it's really a big issue for people?
36:00-39:15 Tyler: I think Path responded to the criticism well.
39:15-40:00 Jason and Tyler look at a study showing user distrust in Facebook privacy.
40:00-42:00 Jennifer, how do you feel about trust issues as an entrepreneur?
42:00-44:00 Why did you decide to start your own investing firm?
44:00-46:00 Why did you chose Boston?
46:00-54:15 Jennifer, it's been great having you on. How can people follow the progress of Adelphic?
54:15-55:30 Let's hear a Shark Tank pitch from Micah Alcorn of Homewrd.
55:30-56:30 Micah begins his pitch for his app that connects lost and found pet with their owners.
58:00-1:00:00 What could Micah have done better?
1:00:00-1:02:45 I'd put this pitch somewhere between and 8 and a 9. But I have a hard time thinking that someone will take the time to download an app. I'd give the business idea a 7.5.
1:02:45-1:07:30 Micah, why did you create this app?
1:07:30-1:08:00 Tyler: I think you got so engaged in this because he made it a really emotional issue
1:08:00-1:14:15 You might want to make this a Kickstarter project.
1:14:15-1:16:30 Thank you to Trada and MailChimp for supporting the show. We'll see you all next time!
