BlackBerry Z10 to roll out to U.S. in March

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Research In Motion Ltd. RIMM -5.49% said Wednesday that it expects its new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone to roll out to U.S. carriers "sometime in March," with the touch-screen device coming to the U.K. and Canada first. The company said at a launch event on Wednesday that AT&T T +0.23% , Verizon VZ +0.82% , Sprint S +0.44% and T-Mobile will all carry the device. No specific prices were given at the event, and launch details were not available for the Q10 device that uses a QWERTY keyboard. RIM shares were down more than 5% to $14.85 as the event wrapped up.
