Gold ends higher after 2-session drop of over $200

Exchange operator raises collateral requirements for trading gold

The bounce was “weak and gold bulls are badly shaken,” said Vedant Mimani, lead portfolio manager of the Atyant Capital Global Opportunities Fund.
“But this is typical action for gold and why old hands say gold comes down an elevator and goes up a set of stairs,” he said. “It will take some time for gold to stabilize and for buyers to regroup.”
